Reviews Policy

All reviews displayed on the Margreth website are genuine and unedited. We do not alter, filter, or selectively publish reviews based on their rating or content. Positive and negative reviews are treated equally — we publish all reviews that comply with our submission guidelines below.

Reviews on Margreth are open to anyone who has purchased a product from our store. We use Judge.me as our third-party review platform to collect and verify reviews. Verified purchase reviews are clearly labelled to help customers distinguish them from other submissions.

After your order is delivered, you may receive an automated email from Margreth or Judge.me inviting you to share your experience. Participation is entirely voluntary. We may also invite customers to leave reviews via WhatsApp or email.

You can also leave a review directly on any product page at any time by clicking "Write a review."

Margreth may occasionally offer a small incentive — such as a discount code — in exchange for leaving a review. Where this is the case:

• The incentive is offered for an honest review — not specifically a positive one
• Customers are never asked to change or remove a negative review in exchange for an incentive
• Incentivised reviews are labelled as such where required by law
• The content and rating of any review remains entirely the customer's own opinion

To maintain a respectful and useful review community, we ask that all reviews:

• Are based on your genuine personal experience with the product
• Are relevant to the specific product being reviewed
• Do not contain offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language
• Do not include personal information about other individuals
• Do not contain spam, promotional content, or links to external websites
• Do not impersonate another person or submit false information

Reviews that violate these guidelines may be removed. We will never remove a review simply because it is negative or critical of our products or service.

We reserve the right to remove a review only in the following circumstances:

• The review contains offensive, hateful, or discriminatory content
• The review contains private personal information about a third party
• The review is clearly spam or submitted by a bot
• The review relates to a matter outside our control (e.g. courier delays not caused by Margreth)
• We have reason to believe the review is fraudulent or fake

We will never remove a review because it is negative, critical, or gives a low star rating.

We read every review and may respond publicly to thank customers for positive feedback or to address concerns raised in negative reviews. Our responses are always respectful and aimed at resolving any issues. Margreth uses Judge.me to collect and display product reviews. Judge.me is an independent third-party platform that collects review data on our behalf. By submitting a review, you agree to Judge.me's terms of service and privacy policy. Your review data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA obligations.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), you have the right to request that your review and associated personal information be removed from our platform at any time. To submit a removal request, contact us at support@margreth.co.za. We will process your request within a reasonable time and confirm once completed.

We may update this Reviews Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
